How to prevent Osteoporosis in Women by Expert

Osteoporosis is a disease where bone weakness increases the risk of a broken bone. It is the most common reason for a broken bone among the elderly. Is there a way to prevent the same. And are only women prone to it. Therefore importantly how to prevent osteoporosis in women. A bone disease that occurs when the body loses too many bones. As a result, the bones are weak and can break when dropped or from sneezing.

Osteoporosis means “porous bone”. Looking under a microscope, healthy bone looks like a honeycomb. If osteoporosis occurs, the apertures and gaps in the honeycomb are much larger than in healthy bone. Osteoporotic bones have lost density or weight and contain abnormal tissue structure. When bones are less dense, they weaken and are more likely to break. If you are 50 or over and have broken bone, ask your doctor for bone density test.
