Make it easy for children to choose healthy snacks by having fruits and vegetables on hand and ready to eat. Other good meals include low fat yogurt, peanut butter and celery, or whole grain biscuits and cheese. Choose low-fat or fat-free dairy products. Reduce fast food and low-nutrient snacks such as fries and sweets.
